Hard to treat - hard to advise households in remote island communities

ORGANISATION // Tighean Innse Gall
PROJECT // Hard to treat - hard to advise households in remote island communities
TOTAL PROJECT COST // 5000
LEADER FUNDING PROVIDED // 5000

This was a Co-Operation project which applied for and was granted preparatory costs up to a maximum of £5000.00.

The principle aim of this preparatory project is to help establish a full project. Our preparatory project involves attending the EEDAL 17 (9TH International Conference on Energy Efficiency in Domestic Appliances And Lighting) conference, which is the main EU energy efficiency event held every two years at different venues and countries around the world. By attending we will meet potential industry leading partners; gain up to date knowledge of best practise and future developments in energy efficiency; and boost our capacity to help residents of the Western Isles and beyond with new ideas and skills. We will also be able to share these experiences and knowledge with potential partners for our full project. We will gain new partners at the event who may bring further expertise to the project, in addition to potential partners in Orkney, Shetland and Ireland.
